ChREBP being the gene found in mice relating to the communication between the pathways for glucose and lipid metabolism.
ChREBP along with a Max-like factor X (Mlx) binds to the carbohydrate response element (ChoRE). ChoRE is a sequence found in the promotor region of many genes involved in glucose metabolism.
