what is the definition of aerobic and anaerobic metabolism and how does insufficient oxygen influence metabolism?
aerobic metabolism is breakdown of molecules that requires oxygen. Anaerobic doesn’t require oxygen. Lack of oxygen will lead to lack of aerobic metabolism, which works faster and better than anaerobic metabolism.
